Cult members clash in Lagos, three feared dead

In a clash between rival cults, the Aiye and Eiye confraternities, in the Aguda area of Surulere, Lagos State, three persons were feared killed on Sunday. It was gathered that the cultists, who wielded weapons such as machetes, axe, planks and broken bottles, caused panic among the residents of the area. Some of the streets affected include Enitan, Willy Omiyi, Akinyele and Adetola. Dangote truck kills three siblings, others in AAUA, mother dies of shock

No fewer than nine persons, including some students of the Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, lost their lives in a fatal accident which occurred on Saturday involving a Dangote cement truck. The school management on Sunday ordered the closure of the institution until further notice due to the protest that followed the fatal accident, which occurred opposite the campus of the institution.
