Residents protest against stay-at-home orders in US

Lassa fever hits Edo, Ondo, Ebonyi, cases rise to 973

The number of confirmed cases of Lassa fever in the country has increased to 973 in the 15th week of 2020 from the 963 cases recorded in the 14th week, says the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control. Imam sacked for obeying lockdown directive in Zaria

Sheikh Sani Yakubu, the Chairman, Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’iqamatis Sunnah, Zaria in Kaduna State, has sacked Mallam Abubakar Sarki-Aminu as the imam (preacher) at the Sheikh Mahood Gumi Centre Juma’at Mosque.
