Police arrest tenant for allegedly killing landlord

Personnel of the Lagos State Police Command, have arrested a tenant, Daniel Isaac, for allegedly killing his landlord, Willy Ebinate, at his house on Owodun Street in the Ikotun area of the state. Isaac was alleged to have killed the 50-year-old car dealer in order to steal his Toyota Camry car that was parked inside the compound. Nigerian preacher, Mr. Oluwole Ilesanmi, who was stopped from expressing his Christian views and driven four miles away by the police, has been awarded a £2,500 payout for his wrongful arrest. The United Kingdom (UK) police, however, refused to apologise for taking him away from the tube station where he was arrested.
