South Africa’s highest court on Tuesday has legalised the use of cannabis by adults in private places. Hundreds of Pro-marijuana activists cheered in the public gallery and chanted “Weed are free now”, when the Constitutional Court gave its landmark ruling. Operatives of the Inspector General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team (IRT), has arrested one Olatunde Adetunji, a 31-year-old member of a notorious armed robbery gang that specializes in robbing bank customers within Ikeja and Isolo areas of Lagos State. The Federal Government says it is enforcing the mandatory use of the National Identification Number (NIN) beginning from January 1, 2019.
