Kaduna extends lockdown by 2 weeks

The lockdown order which restricted movement in Kaduna state, has been extended by 2 weeks so as to prevent the spread of COVID-19. COVID-19: Fear grips Bonny as 11 Persons die in two weeks

Following the sudden death of eleven persons in the past two weeks, fear has gripped Bonny Island, Rivers State. COVID-19: Nigeria’s Cases exceed 7,000

339 new cases of COVID-19 was on Thursday recorded by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in the country, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 7,016. Bayelsa state relaxes social gathering order, raises number to 200

Douye Diri, Bayelsa State Governor, has agreed to allow churches with big auditoriums to have not more  than 200 members during Sunday services. This was contained in a statement   on Wednesday by the Chairman of the state COVID-19 Task Force’s sub-committee on churches, Pastor Samuel John-Peters. ‌ Marcelo Navajas, Bolivia’s health minister, has been arrested on suspicion of corruption related to the over-priced purchase of ventilators to fight COVID-19, the police chief said on Wednesday.
