Man arraigned for allegedly spending $59,220 erroneously credited to his account

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested one James Olaoluwaniyi, for allegedly converting to personal use the sum of $59,220 erroneously transferred into his account by the Sterling Bank where he is a customer. Olaoluwaniyi subsequently sued the EFCC, pleading unlawful detention; while he also asked for a cost of N50,000 against the commission. N5.4bn Profit: Union Bank Maintains Positive Performance in Q1

Union Bank of Nigeria Plc has sustained an impressive performance with profit before tax of N5.4 billion despite the challenging operating environment that pervaded the first quarter (Q1) of 2019. Reckless driver kills FUTA student

Three arrested over kidnap, murder of two Bureau de Change operators

Three suspected members of a robbery/ kidnap gang, who abducted and murdered two Bureau de Change operators last month, in Ikorodu area of Lagos have been arrested by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, Lagos State Police command. District head of Daura, kidnapped

The district head of Daura, Alhaji Musa Umar, has been kidnapped by four unidentified gunmen. The kidnappers were said to have stormed Umar’s Daura residence at 7pm on Wednesday and shooting into the air as bystanders scampered to safety.
