An alarm has been raised by the Federal Government of Nigeria over the outbreak of a disease known as Anthrax which is in the West African sub-region and urged Nigerians to stop eating ‘pomo’ for now. Man commits suicide four months after marriage in Jigawa

A photographer, Usman Sani Goga has committed suicide in the Babura Local Government Area of Jigawa State. The 30 year-old deceased, who got married four months ago, hung himself in his bedroom on Wednesday at Akula Quarters of the local government. The West African Examination Council (WAEC), in its ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), have arrested no fewer than 20 school officials, allegedly aiding and abetting examination malpractice.
