Workers under the aegis of the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress, have stormed various offices of electricity distribution companies to protest over the Band A tariff hike. The workers thronged the offices of the DisCos on Monday, preventing workers from resuming work for the day. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has warned embassies not to demand foreign currency for goods and services in the country. The chairman of EFCC, Ola Olukoyede, gave the strong warning in a special memo addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
