Lt Gen. Victor Malu, former Chief of Army Staff, who served under former president Olusegun Obasanjo, is dead. According to a family source, Malu died early Monday morning at a Cairo hospital. He was said to have travelled to Cairo, the capital of Egypt two weeks ago for medical check-up. Malu was 70 years old. He was born on January 15, 1947, in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue state. Angry mob kills Police inspector for allegedly shooting passenger

A police inspector has been confirmed killed by the Police Command in Adamawa State on Thursday along the Wuro-Dole-Pariya Road in Girei Local Government area of the state. After taking part in a charity marathon to help battle cancer, Tunisia’s health minister, Slim Chaker, died of a heart attack on Sunday, officials said.
