NASU, Others Begin Indefinite Strike Action

A joint union comprising the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) and some other unions have on Tuesday, November 14, declared a total and indefinite strike action. The other unions include Senior Staff Association of Teaching Hospitals, as well as Academic Staff Union of Research Institutions. A temporary freezing order has been granted by a federal High Court, Lagos, freezing N350 million belonging to AM-PM Global Network Limited, alleged to have been secretly hidden in an account with Stanbic-IBTC Bank by former First Lady, Patience Jonathan.
