26 persons were reportedly kidnapped by terrorists who disguised in women’s Abaya (dress), in Katsina State. They attacked Runka community in the state at the weekend and abducted locals — mostly women and children. A septuagenarian, David Jackson, has been convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment by Justice Abiola Soladoye of the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court Ikeja, Lagos State, on Monday, for defiling his neighbour’s seven-year-old daughter.
