The singer, born Ahmed Ololade, shared a video of the emotional moment on his Instagram page on Tuesday, captioning the post, “Congratulations my love.”
In the video, his mother appeared visibly excited as she received the luxury vehicle, reportedly worth several millions of naira. Fans and fellow celebrities quickly flooded the comment section, praising the gesture and applauding the singer for honouring his mother.
The gift marks Asake’s first public move since returning to Lagos a few days ago.
