Popular Nigerian nightlife promoter and socialite, Cubana Chief Priest, has stirred fresh controversy with a recent Instagram post believed to be a dig at his paternity accuser, Kenyan socialite Hellen Ati.
In a video shared from his vacation in France, the celebrity barman—whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu—is seen enjoying himself, accompanied by the caption: “PASKAL!!! You Will Suffer”. The phrase is widely associated with Hellen Ati’s frequent social media tirades against him.
The post comes amid an ongoing legal battle between both parties over a paternity dispute. Ati claims Cubana Chief Priest fathered her two-year-old son following what she described as a brief romantic encounter in April 2022. She has since taken to social media on multiple occasions, demanding a DNA test while leveling accusations and veiled threats—some of which involve the socialite’s wife.
Despite her public outcry, Chief Priest has reportedly refused to submit to a paternity test. Instead, he has responded with a defamation lawsuit filed in a Kenyan court, seeking an interim injunction to restrain Ati from making further defamatory statements.
In court documents, the music promoter argues that the allegations are baseless and malicious, accusing Ati of manipulating social media narratives without any supporting evidence.
The case has drawn widespread attention across social media platforms, with opinions sharply divided over the ongoing dispute. While some users criticize Chief Priest for his dismissive attitude, others question Ati’s motives and call for due legal process.
