Madrid legend, Roberto Carlos has backed Cristiano Ronaldo to keep bagging the awards, after winning his fifth Ballon d’Or.
The Portuguese pulled level with Lionel Messi on that count, winning the Golden Ball four times in five years.
Ronaldo’s win comes as no surprise, as he played a key role in Madrid’s successful defence of their UCL title and helped them to a La Liga title.
Iconic Madrid full-back Carlos lauded Ronaldo following the ceremony in Paris by saying: “He will get more. There will be more trophies to come.
“He’ll get much more trophies.”
