Federal Government has placed indefinite suspension on the takeoff of the proposed national carrier scheduled for December 24. Iranian plane crash kills all 66 aboard

66 people have been confirmed dead after an Iranian passenger plane on a domestic flight crashed into the country’s Zagros mountains on Sunday officials said. 900 workers representing 60 per cent of Aero Contractors Airline staff, which is presently under the management of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), has been sacked. Letters of redundancy were issued to the affected employees during the week. Emirates flight grounded over snake onboard

A snake was found aboard an Emirates Airlines flight from Muscat to Dubai. The flight was cancelled after baggage handlers discovered a snake in the aircraft’s cargo hold. The animal was found before Sunday’s flight from Oman, the airline said in a statement, adding that the aircraft was returned to service after being thoroughly searched.
