The Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has described the arrest of Abidemi Rufai, a Senior Special Assistant to the governor, as disturbing news, and ordered the immediate suspension of Rufai. Ogun governor’s aide faces 30 years in US prison for $350,000 fraud

Abidemi Rufai, a Senior Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor, faces up to 30 years in prison if he is convicted of wire fraud. COVID-19: NCDC records 29 new infections, total now 165,807

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday said the country recorded additional 29 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 165,807. The NCDC made the announcement via its official Twitter handle on Wednesday morning.
