Akomolafe Gbenga Michael, a personnel of the Nigeria Immigration Service at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport MMIA, Lagos, has been suspended over multiple charges of alleged drug trafficking. The allowances of foreign scholars who are currently stranded in Russia, Morocco, and Algeria, among others, have been slashed by the Federal Government by 12.7%. The ministry of education made the announcement attributing the development to economic crises.
