PDP govs support Labour on new minimum wage demands

Governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), have backed labour’s demand for a new minimum wage, saying it is “eminently justified”. The PDP governors made their opinion known in a communiqué signed by the spokesman, Bala Mohammed and issued on Wednesday at the end of their meeting in Enugu State. Senator Ndume removed as Senate chief whip

Senator Ali Ndume has been removed by the Senate as the Chief Whip and replaced with Senator Tahir Monguno. Ndume’s replacement by the Senate followed a directive issued to that effect in a letter written by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Umar Ganduje and National Secretary, Senator Bashir Ajibola.
