Folake Abiola, an accountant and staff of the telecoms giant, Globacom, committed suicide by drinking pesticide. The incident occurred on Friday, May 27, 2022, at her 1 Abayomi Kukomi Close residence at Osapa London, Lekki, Lagos. Folake, aged 47 is single, and childless had suffered depression for a while before she took her life.
