I Will Win Election In Rivers State – Wike

Chief Barr. Ezebunwo Nyesom Wike, PDP governorship hopeful has again stated that, he would win the forthcoming general elections as the Governor of Rivers State.

Making his feelings known to the people of Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State during a campaign tour at Abua civic centre, Chief Wike said he can go home and sleep with his ‘two eyes closed.’ Barrister  Wike stated that, he has already ‘won the 16 aspirants’ and is strategizing on how to win the All Progressives Congress (APC) come 2015, even though, he is not afraid of APC because the party does not exist in Rivers State.

He maintained that, while he is busy visiting party faithful from one local government area to another in order to speak with them and to know their problem’s before the election, others are busy calling for his disqualification adding that, he would emerge victorious.

He urged all P.D.P party faithful to disregard such calls and rise up and vote a credible leader for governorship because election is all about knowing your leaders well.

Similarly, the leader of the (PDP) in Abua/Odual Local Government Area, Hon. Henry Ogiri thanked the governorship hopeful and his team for taking time to visit the area.

Hon. Ogiri stated that Abua/Odual is PDP and that, they are supporting Chief Barr. Wike and would vote him come 2015 general election, considering the fact that, he is a man that keeps to his words.

Ogiri further disclosed that, with his relationship with Barrister Wike, if he scales through, Abua/Odual would demand for two commissioners and he would give them adding that, Barr. Wike is open minded and would develop Abua and Rivers State.

However, 150 motorcycles were distributed to the population as empowerment by Hon. Ogiri and Hon. Betty Apiafi, promising to empower 100 women on the latest cassava farming, calling on all to support and vote P.D.P because it is the only party that can deliver their promises.

He also advised them to participate fully during the forthcoming voters exercise and collect their voter’s cards and vote wisely during the general election.

Dignitaries from all walks of life witnessed the event.
