Budding actress, Sotonye Green’s death is the first COVID-19 recorded death in the movie industry.
Rivers State born actress, who featured in a movie titled ‘Blood in the Lagoon’, was said to have been taken to Yaba Isolation Centre in Lagos but there was allegation that, the medical staff paid little attention to her case due to issues bothering on bribe.
According to her friend, Debby King who claimed to have taken the actress to the Isolation Centre, she alleged ‘ineptitude.’
A sad Debby King on her Instagram page, announced the death of her actress friend, and also pointed accusing fingers to medical staff.
Debby writes: “Please and Please. Help spread the word. Yaba isolation center is a dead trap where only the rich and famous are treated after their doctors have been bribed. I never thought I would be saying goodbye so soon. Rest in peace my bestie. May God forgive all your sins and accept your soul into paradise in Jesus name….Amen”.
