Billionaire Samuel Adedoyin’s grandson allegedly commits suicide

Multi-billionaire businessman and chairman of Doyin Group of Companies, Prince Samuel Adedoyin has lost his 28year-old grandson, Subomi Olobayo in a mysterious circumstance.

Subomi who died on Tuesday night at his parents’ home in GRA, Ilorin, is the first son of Lola Olobayo, one of the daughters of Adedoyin.

Sources say, the young man allegedly committed suicide, and was believed to have been battling depression before he died.

It was gathered that the body of Subomi was reportedly discovered around 5pm at the backyard of their residence, while he was said to have left the house around 11am.
It was also gathered that, his mother was in Abeokuta, Ogun State when the incident occurred.

“She returned to receive the bad news of her son’s death”, sources say.

It was however gathered that the mother, Princess Omolola Olobayo, had been taken out of the resident while the father, Prince John Olobayo, and some relatives were attending to visitors.

The corpse has been transferred to the morgue, while the date for the burial of the deceased is yet to be fixed.
