Deeper Life church expels man over alleged rape attempt of 12-yr-old girl

A 60-year-old man identified as Boniface Onyekwere, has been expelled by Deeper Life Bible Church, Anambra State, over an alleged attempt to rape a 12-year-old girl. The church’s stand was made known in a disclaimer signed by the State Overseer, Pastor Jude Chukwuocha and dated April 26, 2022, which noted that Onyekwere was not a pastor or worker in any Deeper Life church in Anambra State. Cybercrime contributes 0.08 per cent to GDP loss, about $500 million -NCC

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has disclosed that cybercrime remains one of the dangers of digital transformation in Nigeria and across the globe.     NCC noted that while the opportunities a digitally literate population pose economically, socially, and developmentally are immeasurable, conversely, the risks posed, especially coupled with a youth unemployment rate estimated by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) at about 45 per cent, are severe.
