COVID-19: Lagos isolation centres record 500 deaths, says ministry

The Lagos State Ministry of Health has said more than 500 deaths were recorded in isolation centres across the state. Director, Public Affairs, Ministry of Health, Lagos State, ‘Tunbosun Ogunbanwo, made this known in a press statement, yesterday, titled, ‘COVID third wave mitigation: Lagos to sanction erring inbound passengers’. Flooding in US state of Tennessee claims 21 lives

Not less than 21 people have reportedly lost their lives in the devastating floods in the southern US state of Tennessee, and dozens missing, local officials said Sunday in what they warned was a preliminary toll. Tennessee was hit Saturday by what meteorologists called historic storms and flooding, dumping 15 inches (38 centimeters) or more of rain. Suspected firearms supplier, others arrested in FCT

A suspected firearms supplier, Matthew Vaaswem, 30, who supplies guns to suspected kidnap syndicates operating along Tungan Maje in the FCT and Gawu axis of Niger State, has been arrested by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command.
