Phone dealer abducted, pregnant wife shot dead in Kwara State

A businessman, Lukman Ibrahim who deals in phone and accessories at Owode Market in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State was abducted by gunmen, on Saturday, while his pregnant wife was shot dead. The deceased woman, identified as Hawa operated a chemist shop at Oshunte, along Ibrahim Taiwo Road, Offa. Reports said they were attacked along Ojoku road, which is a short distance from a Divisional Police Headquarters. The continous rise of insecurity in Oyo State, has led to the decision of the management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan to suspend all the activities in the institution.
