The death of the celebrated chef, and CEO of I Luv Desserts, Adepeju Ugboma who allegedly died from surgery complications, has made the State Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency to shut down the Intensive Care Unit of Premier Specialists’ Medical Centre, Victoria Island. Peju, as she is fondly addressed, died after undergoing a botched surgery for fibroid related ailment at the hospital. Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party, for the November 6, Anambra election.
