Tribunal sacks Dino Melaye, orders fresh election

The National Assembly/State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Lokoja has nullified election of Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Senator Dino Melaye, on Friday. Melaye has described the ruling of the tribunal nullifying his victory in the March 22 election and ordering a fresh election as a total miscarriage of justice. Fraud: US names at least 77 Nigerians in massive fraud, money laundering

80 persons, many of whom are Nigerian nationals, have been named by the United States Department of Justice on Thursday, to have conspired to steal millions of dollars from Americans and American businesses through online scams.
