The death toll from Typhoon Lekima rose to 49 on Tuesday and 21 were still missing after the monster storm wreaked havoc on China’s eastern coast, causing huge damage with strong gales and torrential rain. Luxury brand Versace has apologised after an image on one of its T-shirts appeared to imply Hong Kong and Macau were independent territories. Nine Nigerian pilgrims die in Saudi -NAHCON

The number of Nigerian pilgrims who have died while performing the 2019 Hajj in Saudi Arabia has risen to nine. This was made known by Dr Ibrahim Kana, the Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.
