Lost €37,000 found by Air Force personnel, returned to owner

Bashir Umar, a Nigeria Air Force personnel, has returned the sum of €37,000 (N312.7 million) to its owner, Alhaji Ahmad, who misplaced the money at the Hajj Camp in Kano State. Umar, a member of the NAF Mobile Air Defence Team (MADT), was on duty with his colleagues when he found the money on 16, July 2019. President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), to explain to Nigerians how $1 billion allegedly disappeared from the Excess Crude Account (ECA).
