Nigeria faces South Africa as Bafana Bafana beat Pharaohs 1-0

Bafana Bafana of South Africa have knocked out Egypt, host of the on-going African Cup of Nations yesterday, to book a place in the quarterfinals. They will be facing Nigeria in the quarterfinals. Earlier in Alexandria, Nigeria had beaten Cameroon 3-2, while Bafana Bafana defeated Egypt 1-0 in Cairo. The South Africans, who did not show any sign of a side that barely managed to qualify for the second round, got their winner five minutes from time through Thembinkosi Lorch. 46 suicide cases recorded in Nigeria within six months -Uwakwe
