Fuel subsidy not helping the poor — World Bank

World Bank’s Vice President for Sustainable Development, Laura Tuck, has warned Nigeria and other countries paying subsidies on fossil fuels to desist from it as such practice was not in favour of the poor. Ex-NIMASA DG jailed 7 years over N136m fraud

Former acting Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Calistus Obi, has been sentenced to 42 years imprisonment by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, yesterday, for N136 million fraud.
