A US-based Nigerian Doctor, Chibawanye Ene, has won the 2019 Ronald L. Bittner Award on Brain Tumor Research. A statement from the Clinical Department, Applied Radiation Oncology U.S., said Ene received the award at the 2019 American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting held from April 13 to April 17 in San Diego. The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a school gardener, Femi Aderonmu, for allegedly beating a Senior Secondary School 3 pupil of the Jubril Martins Memorial Grammar School, Iponri, Rafiu Adagun, to death. Woman arraigned for allegedly striping naked and urinating on church altar
