Court issues arrest warrant against Nollywood actress over alleged tax evasion

A bench warrant for the arrest of a Nollywood actress and producer, Monalisa Chinda-Coker, has been issued by an Igbosere High Court, Lagos State, on Monday, over alleged tax evasion. Justice Adedayo Akintoye renewed the order for the arrest following the failure of the actress to appear in court for trial. Positive outlook as Fidelity Bank profit grows by 30.6 percent

Fidelity Bank Plc has released a statement that its profit before tax (PBT) grew by 30.6 percent to N25.1 billion in the financial year ended December 31, 2018 from N19.2 billion in the previous year. According to reports, the statement shows that the bank recorded 4.8 percent  growth in gross earnings from N180.2 billion to N188.9 billion while profit after tax grew by 29 percent  from N17.7 billion in 2017 to N22.9 billion in 2018, whilst operating income rose by 13.9 percent  from N85.9 billion to N97.2 billion. Over 2,500 okada to be crushed by Lagos task force, 109 more impounded

Over 2500 commercial motorcycle, popularly known as okada, impounded in the last three months (January to March 2019) by the Operatives of the Lagos State Taskforce would soon be crushed, says Chairman of the Agency, Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi.
