Another Yoruba veteran actor, Ola Omonitan, who was popularly known as Ajimajasan is dead. He was one of the comedians who dominated the stage at the same time with the late comic actor, Moses Adejumo, popularly called Baba Sala. He died at the age of 83. Omonitan, died at his home in Ibadan after a protracted illness. Labour plans to resume strike as governors claim they can’t pay new minimum wage

Abdulaziz Yari, Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, NGF, said yesterday that governors were not against upward review of the minimum wage, but lack capacity to pay it.
