The name of the new national carrier, Nigeria Air, has been unveiled by the Federal Government. The airline, set for take-off on December 24, is largely private investors-owned, with the government owning only five per cent equity. Dismissed Police officer jailed for receiving bribe from robbery suspect

An Oyo State High Court has sentenced Akanmu Kabiru, a dismissed police officer, to three years’ imprisonment for receiving bribe from an armed robbery suspect, Badmus Akojode. Car snatcher nabbed after stealing 32 vehicles

Olayemi Adeoye, a car snatcher who allegedly specialises in stealing particularly Honda brand, has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command.
