NAFDAC Reopens Emzor, Others Amidst Codeine Controversy

NAFDAC on Saturday lifted the shutdown order on three companies who were closed on May 7, for production of codeine cough syrups have been lifted and the normal company operations could resume. The companies include the Emzor Pharmaceuticals Ind. Ltd, Lagos, Peace Standard Pharmaceutical Limited and Bioraj Pharmaceutical Limited in Ilorin, Kwara . A 22-year-old student, Elizabeth Bright, has been elected as the youngest councillor in United Kingdom (UK) to represent Eastbrook ward in Dagenham, during the country’s election on Thursday, May 3. Ramota Lawal, known as Tele, was also elected to represent the London Borough of Havering Council, representing residents in Heaton Ward, Harold Hill. After meeting with his doctors in London, United Kingdom, President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday has returned to Nigeria . Buhari returned to the country about 24 hours ahead of schedule.
